Our Olive Branch location is currently seeking a Senior HR Generalist. This hybrid role will report to the Senior Manager of People & Culture.
The Sr. HR Generalist will lead and manage the People and Culture team's major Human Resources and Compliance (HRC) disciplines. In addition, the manager will act as a strategic consultant to site leadership and collaborate with P&C delivery teams to ensure cultural wellness and ongoing positive employee relations.
Must be able to work onsite 4 days a week and travel for quarterly team meetings, training, and other company events.
Responsibilities will include:

Work closely with the People & Culture team to deliver on HR initiatives, including Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Employee Learning and Development, DEI, Compliance, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Safety, Legal Compliance, and other human resource compliance matters.

Partner with the recruiter and leadership team to understand and execute the organization's talent strategy, particularly concerning current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

Maintain a work environment emphasizing professional excellence, teamwork, and vendor and employee satisfaction.

Effectively partner with HRC partners and peer People & Culture delivery teams.

Act as a trusted advisor in coaching and providing guidance to leaders and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

Support and participate in research efforts on compensation trends and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

Observe, participate, and counsel leaders in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend best practices; consistently review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources and employment law.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
-
A minimum of 3-5 years of human resource management experience preferred.
-
SHRM or PHR certification is highly desired.
-
Background in distribution and manufacturing industries preferred.
-
Proficient with HRIS system, preferably ADP Workforce.
-
Proficient in Microsoft 365.
-
Working knowledge of benefits and varied insurance programs.
-
Solid knowledge of HR specialties (Employee Relations, Data protection skills, administration, Organization Development, Compensations & etc.)

Able to navigate and understand social media platforms.
-
Fluency in Spanish is helpful but not required.
