Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager, with an accounting/HR background, to oversee the daily operations of our office and assist management with financial and HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage the administrative functions of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate office operations and procedures
- Assist with project management and resourcing for cost proposals
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Assist with marketing email blasts and social media posting
- Assist with monthly billing and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with HR responsibilities
- Work closely with management on various financial/HR related projects
- Backup to bi-weekly payroll submittal to third party vendor payroll service
Skills:
- Proven experience in office management and team leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with Deltek AJERA or other accounting software is a plus
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems
- Excellent time management skills as well as strong memory of processes
- Experience in the civil engineering industry a plus
- Background in accounting with more than 5 years' experience preferred
- This position requires internal/external professional confidentiality
