As an Operating Room or Surgical Registered Nurse at Crozer Health, you willprovide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families. You must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Your day can vary from patient assessments of all ages during their perioperative period, identifying physiologic changes, physical assessments and providing appropriate nursing care.

Responsibilities
- Identifies the physiologic changes induced by surgery or anesthesia
- Developing Individualized Plans of Care
- Performing Patient Care
- Prepares Operating Room, maintains safe environment
- Identifies all Surgical Instruments
- Functions as Scrub Nurse and Circulating Nurse
- Documenting Nursing Process
- Communicating with the Physician
Requirements
- BSN preferred
- Current PA RN License
- ACLS certification
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Part of Neuro Specific Team
- Procedural experience preferred
- Mandated and Permissive Reporter Training
