Who Are You?
Title: Patient Care Coordinator
The ideal Patient Care Coordinator should be an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a compassionate individual. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with providers and patients.
Must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and be prepared to work with patients with PCS/TBI.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients upon arrival.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, and assesses urgency of call. Directs caller to appropriate person
- Schedule and confirm patients' appointments
- Ensure the satisfaction of practitioners and patients, by scheduling/coordinating appointments, as needed.
- Perform Insurance Verifications and submit PAR forms
- Represent the office in a positive and professional manner to patients and other visitors
- Perform all other related tasks as assigned by management
Full-time position:
Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm.
Location: Manhattan Office
Education/Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
- Five years minimum of medical receptionist experience (TBI/PCS experience is a plus)
- Bilingual- proficient in Spanish
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, learn fast and efficiently
- Ability to work independently & with a team to complete tasks timely & efficiently
- Outstanding telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Experience with Worker's Compensation and No Fault is a plus

Salary Information:
The estimated base salary range for this position is $19 to $25 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is at-will and non-exempt.
