We have a great opportunity for a Project Engineer in Austin, TX. We are looking for a Civil Engineer with experience in Water/Wastewater, Conveyance. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of water distribution and wastewater collection systems (pump stations, lift stations, hydraulics and construction administration.)
- Serve as Project Engineer on multiple water and wastewater design projects.
- Conduct construction site visits and prepare field reports.
- Assist in scope/fee/schedule project plans.
- Attend client meetings and assist with client relationship management.
- Participate in professional associations representing the firm in networking opportunities.
- Responsible for cost estimates.
- Responsible for drawings and/or sketches for layout of site plans.
- Responsible for preparing reports.
- Responsible for evaluating project permitting requirements and coordinating with governing agencies on permit applications and submittals.
- Responsible for contacting equipment and product manufacturers and vendors for information, pricing, and project-specific design considerations.
Requirements:
- 4 – 10 years of Water/Wastewater Conveyance (pump stations, lift stations, pipelines, forced mains, gravity feeds, storage tanks…)
- At least 4 years of experience working on projects in water and wastewater design, hydraulic design and conveyance.
- Must be a Professional Engineer in Texas.
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited university.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Understanding of GIS,
- Google Earth or other Geographic mapping systems preferred.
- Microsoft Office products (Excel)

Pay: $98,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
