OVERVIEW
Join our team as an Industrial Network Specialist 2
The Industrial Network Specialist (INS) 2 is a subject matter expert in the areas of network design and security, physical and virtual computing infrastructure design, and industrial application support.
Technical responsibilities include design, development, implementation, configuration, and support. This mid-level role also is responsible for working directly with clients to identify needs and opportunities for advanced network, computing, and application infrastructure. This role will include specification, configuration, and installation of physical equipment, virtual computers, software, licensing, and related accessories. This role will also be required to design and deploy manufacturing domains using Microsoft Active Directory.
Working knowledge of network hardware and programming experience with Cisco IOS and Operational Technology is required. Experience with DMZ setup and configuration is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Control system development including HMI and PLC programming
- Configuring network hardware such as switches and Firewalls
- Computer system setup and application installation/configuration
- Must be good at troubleshooting at all levels
- Assess existing client networks, including:
- Network Diagrams
- Installed Asset Review
- Cyber Security Evaluation
- Network Loading and Segmentation
- Existing Network Statistics
- Network Gap Assessment
- Architecting Future Network Upgrades
- Develop and implement plans for modifying and improving equipment, new software installation, adding or changing devices and users, and establishing authorized access as in:
- Network Architecture
- Fiber, Copper and Wireless
- Network Levels and Segmentation
- Performance Improvement
- Virtualization
- Remote Access
- Access Control
- Security
- Testing and Validation
- Assure technical accuracy and soundness of engineering and technical practices based on sound design criteria, specifications, and standards as related to the project requirements. Among others, this includes standards such as, ISA99/IEC62443, ISA TR84.00.09, NERC CIP, or NIST SP800-82.

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications, ranging from $98,000 to $117,000_ annually. The final salary will be determined based on various factors including candidate's experience and qualifications._
