Tax Manager
Pennoptic CPAs & Strategic Partners, a recent acquisition by Ross Buehler Falk & Company, is looking to hire a Tax Manager to join the team at our small accounting firm, located in Denver, PA.

Duties
- Coordinate tax activities and develop connections with the client at the strategic level
- Serve as a frontline advisor to client
- Manage production of quality deliverables on time, in scope and within budget
- Develop relationships to produce new business and grow the tax portfolio
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns, identify opportunities to minimize the effective tax rate and oversee non-income tax compliance
- Mentor and develop team members
- Tax Research and ensure proper documentation
- Formulate conclusions consistent with firm policies and professional standards; determine implications and best course of action for client
- Partake in internal/external networking activities while enhancing existing COI network
- Participate in proposal process: prospective client meetings, proposal drafting and budget development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related degree with courses taken in accounting, or comparable work experience required.
- CPA License Required
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Ability to solve problems and make timely decisions
- Demonstrate the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Strong Project Management and Multi-tasking skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
