CLASSIC SUBARU OF ATLANTA is seeking to hire a full-time SUBARU AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN who performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This job requires self-discipline and an exceptional work ethic as this is a 100% commission job, which allows for salary to be determined by the amount and quality of work done.

Job Description:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
- Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have a positive attitude, superior work ethic, and be a team player
- 5+ years experience in a dealership or similar shop environment.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new technology, repair/service procedures, and specifications.
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Physical Demands: Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, carrying, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US
