Spring EQ is seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our rapidly growing team. This position will be an active member of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team and will report directly to the Vice President, Business Intelligence and Analytics. This critical role requires a passionate and detail-oriented individual looking to pursue a career in the FinTech industry.
Responsibilities:
Industry Knowledge and Experience:

Good understanding of financial services and/or mortgage lending processes.

Proven ability to work independently and pull together the data needed to provide new analytic insights to managers and executives.
Technical Skills

Uses querying languages like SQL, scripting languages like R or Python, and other tools like Tableau or Excel to produce reports
- Creates reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision-making.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SAS or R for data analysis.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Strong ability to analyze complicated data, identify trends, and create reports with coherent, insightful takeaways and advice.

Excellent communication skills.

Collaborate with project stakeholders to better understand valuable objectives and KPIs and to design relevant reports and dashboards.
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree.
- Requires 0 to 2 years of financial services data experience.

Strong Excel and SQL data skills.

Experience creating decks and presentations.
