Our therapists:
- Want to work closely with just a few patients (we have a maximum of 6)
- Are EMDR-trained (or are planning to become EMDR-trained)
- Are creative, responsive, and passionate about their treatment approach with patients
- Understand the attention and support patients in the RTC level of care need
- Are looking for a warm and home-like environment in which to work
- Appreciate a relaxed but engaged pace, working with patients in individual therapy, groups and supporting the milieu
- Have a healthy relationship with food and eating, and can support patients by joining at meals and snacks, when needed
- Know and understand eating disorders (or want to learn!)

This is a full-time, in-person position in our eating disorder treatment program. Requires full COVID-19 vaccination (including boosters).
Bright Road Recovery is an innovative eating disorder treatment program with an outstanding treatment team.
We are seeking licensed or associate therapists to provide full-time psychotherapy services in our residential treatment center. Our highly trained and skilled therapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of the program including group/family therapy, individual therapy and meal support.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or related field
- Must have and maintain active associate's registration or state license in good standing for MFT, LCSW, LPC or PsyD or PhD
Requirements include:

- Pass background check
Our ideal candidate:
- has at least 2 years’ experience (pre- or post-licensure) working with eating disorders, trauma, addiction, or severe mood disorders
- is creative, responsive, and passionate about their treatment approach with patients
- interested in bringing creative ideas, passion, and expertise to further enrich and develop our dynamic program
- is EMDR-trained
- prefers to work in an in-person setting and in a team environment
Therapist Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Reports to Clinical Director
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for patients at RTC, IOP, PHP & Outpatient LOC
- Provide meal support during supervised meals
- Participate in case management and care coordination, including utilization reviews (if needed) and treatment team meetings
- Maintain appropriate and timely contact with referring professionals
- Detailed and timely documentation, including: biopsychosocial assessment, weekly goal setting and treatment planning, session progress notes, discharge reporting/recommendations
- Participate in collaborative therapeutic and work environment
Physical Limitations:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs
- Must be able to lift up 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
- Has good general knowledge of computer operations; uses a keyboard and calculator proficiently and with a high degree of accuracy
- Uses Microsoft Office Word and Excel as well as Internet and email programs proficiently, including Google platform applications such as google docs, sheets, forms, slides, etc
- Uses typical office equipment
