JOB SUMMARY:
Fast growing renewables company is looking for manufacturing technicians for a rapidly growing market. We have a current opening for a junior technician or entry level technician. Ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of prior experience, and experience using hand tools. Candidate will perform assembly, calibrating, and testing while also cross-product collaboration. Candidate needs to have mechanical skills, strong work ethic, penchant for accuracy and clear communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Study and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Read and confirm parts lists, interpret measurements, and verify specifications.
- Determine the availability of materials and tools necessary for tasks.
- Assemble components and ensure all parts are fitted correctly.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and address assembly line issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
- Conserve resources and supplies to minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical configurations, including 12V, 120V, and 240V applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents accurately.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adherence to safety standards and protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.
