National Spay Alliance Savannah has been in the area for over 4 years and our requests for services grows each day. While our focus is on spay/neuter and reduction of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, the medical side of our practice is based in grassroots community involvement and outreach. Our clinic also offers soft tissue surgery and dentals. We strive to provide the best patient care and customer service possible to the communities we serve regardless of their income status. We are looking to add a strong team member to our staff of technicians/assistants to continue to improve on our level of care. We strive for a positive work environment with an open door management philosophy.
As our Technician you will work with our Clinic Manager to support our DVM in patient care ranging from patient intake, surgical prep (including anesthesia monitoring) and calculation of anesthetic drugs, working up rooms, performing laboratory testing, to assisting clients during our walk-in hours for vaccines, routine testing and examinations.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and someone who is able to multi-task efficiently. You MUST BE COMFORTABLE CALCULATING DRUGS. You must be detailed oriented and ensure proper medical documentation. Applicants must have experience in all areas of a veterinary hospital. You will be required to perform in all departments including customer service/front desk duties.
Interested candidates will be responsible for some post-operative client communication and must be able to work independently while contributing to a larger team goal. We believe in high quality medicine that starts with the team. Our focus is adding members to the team that know how to add value and understand the necessary commitment needed to ensure the work week and patient care run smoothly.
We offer excellent hours with a 4 DAY WORK WEEK, NO WEEKENDS, paid vacation, paid holidays, uniforms and discounted pet care.
