Dealer Sales Account Manager for Leading Mobility Manufacturer
Sunset Vans, one of the largest mobility dealerships in the U.S., is looking to add a skilled account manager to our growing sales team. This individual will take the lead in reaching out to new potential dealers and managing a current portfolio of dealers on the West Coast. The individual will be expected to do current dealer visits and training and sign on new dealers.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can converse concisely and in a friendly manner, has an engaging personality and has great energy. Our ideal candidate should be able to learn about our products quickly and fully understand the services we provide, as well as the type of clientele we serve and work well in a team environment. Specialty fleet sales, commercial sales, government sales, and dealer management are all a plus.
Our industry is one of repeat business, thus customer service and building relationships is absolutely key and allows for the rep to grow a large portfolio of repeat clients and dealers over time. We are looking for someone eager to grow as we grow.
**If you are not comfortable with making monthly visits to dealers, this position is NOT for you as face to face visits will be critical in the building of relationships
Essential job duties:
- Sign on new mobility dealers to sell Sunset products.
- Manage current portfolio of selling dealers.
- Provide sales training to selling dealer staff.
- Coordinate with the Sales Manager to provide them updates.
- Maintain a CRM sales pipeline of prospecting, appointments and sales activities.
- Become very knowledgeable in regard to the products we provide
- General office duties that include but are not limited to coordinating with walk in customers, answering phones, filing, scanning documents, financing activities etc.
- Travel as needed to visit dealers, clients, trade shows, and do product demos.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma but some college preferred
- Experience in cold calling or sales
- Experience in customer service
- Detail oriented
- Computer literate and proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive etc.
- Multitasker in a fast-paced environment
- Fleet sales, RV Dealership, commercial, government, or manufacturer to dealer sales experience a plus
- Willingness to learn and gain experience to possibly be moved to a full sales position
- Self Starter who is detail oriented and can build relationships in a business to business sales environment
Compensation:
Base salary and commission and bonuses depending on experience. Vacation, holiday, life insurance, accident coverage, and sick pay are also included.
