JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Engineer Manager will lead our maintenance and engineering department in our new facility. We are seeking a technical leader who can ensure that all design specifications and engineering standards are met. This role will also participate with our client facing team, providing technical assistance and product development and quoting.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up our new facility by analyzing data to identify patterns and develop optimal workflows and processes.

Participate in developing design and installation specifications and plans for machinery.

Working knowledge of extrusion process, and hands-on abilities to operate molding presses.
- Leads preproduction efforts of material development, rubber mixing and molding.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and schematics.

Supports Plant management with capital projects with the installation of new equipment and installation.
- Able to travel to other manufacturing plants within the US and other countries.
- Knows the compound concentration and will recommend changes when formulation does not perform as expected.

Manages product launches focusing on tooling design, development and process.
Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey information accurately to all levels and practice active listening.
- Microsoft products and the ability to present using PowerPoint and other software's

Familiar with APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and ISO 9001 Standards

Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
Experience Required
- Bachelor of Engineering
- 3 to 5 years with rubber compounding and rubber molding

Manufacturing experience

Leading projects from conception to fruition

Ability to speak Spanish helpful but not required.
