POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal Quality Inspector will be a value-driven, results-focused team member capable of identifying non-conformances and successfully supporting and working with Production Management and manufacturing staff, ensuring that all manufactured products meet the quality standards by performing accurate, timely inspections before products are packaged for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform in-process inspection and final quality inspections to ensure conformance to customer requirements provided through blueprints and control documents prior to product shipment.
- Advise Production Management of any quality defects in a timely manner so they can be resolved.
- Conduct reworks and re-inspections as directed for nonconforming product found in-house or returned from customers as directed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in quality, customer service, and/or continuous improvement.

Excellent visual inspection skills and an eye for detail

Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments; strong sense of urgency

Excellent record-keeping documentation and organizational skills

Proficient computer skills – particularly Microsoft Office programs

Ability to take direction from senior management and display positive
“can-do” attitude, strong work ethic and utilizing strong problem-solving skills. -
Able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift 50 pounds and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
