The Problems You’ll Solve
The National Service Events and Program Support Coordinator will support NYC Service’s national
service (AmeriCorps) programs, reporting to the National Service Professional Development & Member
Support Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Member Professional Development
- Develop elements of the curriculum for professional development for NYC Service AmeriCorps
programs and tracks progress on the goals and strategy.
- Plan and execute elements of member orientations and monthly member training for all of NYC
Service’s AmeriCorps programs including space procurement, logistics planning, securing
trainers, managing staff roles and placement for those days and leading selected elements of
training.
