Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate Youth Engagement and Evaluation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with young people, particularly those who have experienced foster care or homelessness, to engage them in meaningful activities and evaluate the impact of our programs.
Responsibilities:
Engagement
- Develop and implement youth engagement strategies to foster participation and inclusion
- Collaborate with young people and adults to co-design and co-facilitate activities
Evaluation
- Support evaluations of programs to assess their impact on youth
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform program improvements
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on evaluation findings
Engagement + Evaluation
- Co-develop a training program in research and evaluation with an emphasis on methods rooted in the arts and healing
- Train young people from foster care or homelessness backgrounds to become healers, restorative practitioners, evaluators, and researchers
Other
- Promote equity through anti-racist and decolonizing words and actions
Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse communities in community-based settings
- Experience working with young people, particularly those who have experienced foster care or homelessness
- Skills in qualitative research methods and data analysis
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work both in-person and remotely, and collaboratively with diverse teams
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for equity and a belief that a whole, beautiful, and just world is possible
- Willingness to learn new software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with restorative practices and trauma-informed care
- Experience with data collection tools and software
We seek community activists, artists, young professionals, and recent graduates who would thrive in a small team environment and are dedicated to working towards equity. Early career professionals with less than two years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
