Broadway Respite and Home Care is an exciting and committed home care agency, seeking a Part-time (16-25hrs/wk) Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that is licensed to join our team in Fair Lawn, NJ! This is a growth role, our goal is to continue to build rapport for the program and increase our client census, which can lead to additional hours + Bonus perks!
We are providing Home care services in multiple areas of New Jersey, for the residents in the community that require support with ADL's (assisted daily living). Our certified Home health aides are qualified assist in enhancing the lives of the individual.
The BCBA will support our clients by identifying and correcting problematic behaviors in their lives. The BCBA will report to our the Director of IDD, and responsibilities will include meeting with families and skilled professionals to discuss a patient’s treatment. The BCBA will be meeting with patients out in the field to observe their behaviors, and taking detailed notes during sessions to help patients.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism, while providing patient care and behavioral health services.

Qualifications:
- BCBA license
- Must have proven work experience as a BCBA (preferred)
- Must be willing to travel to clients in Central NJ
- Must have valid NJ Drivers license, and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Calm, compassionate, and patient nature
- The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under pressure as well as executing sensitive timelines
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology
This is a Field Position:
- Must be willing to travel to assigned clients in Central New Jersey
Responsibilities:
- Observing clients and assessing their behavior in order to develop individualized treatment plans in order to correct maintain, and/or improve certain behaviors
- Collaborate with families, and qualified professionals to discuss the patient’s treatment and progress, while recommending ways to address behavioral issues
- Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
- Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required
- Implement behavior intervention strategies
- Operate within timelines, including financial, and other resource constraints
- Remain abreast of changes in research of evidence-based practices
- Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
- Monitor and evaluate client's progress
- Maintain accurate medical documentation following HIPAA guidelines
- Provide training and support to staff in working with clients that have developmental disabilities and/or special needs
Payrate will be based on experience $70.00/hr + Growth Advancement!
