We are a skilled nursing facility seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can manage collections, business office administration, and has experience in long-term care.
Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
The position would not have a home facility, but the applicant would commute to different facilities within San Fernando Valley, therefore, reliable transportation and willingness to commute are a must.
Business Office Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience in business office or BOM would be necessary
- Experience in SNF is highly preferred
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, HMOs, including appeals
- Knowledge of verifying payor sources and deposits, MediCal TARS
- Experience in collecting from managed Medi-Cal care organizations
- Proficient in securing authorizations
- Knowledge of state and federal nursing home guidelines, including trust fund management
- Experience with Point Click Care software is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Billing and collections for Managed Care and Managed Medi-cal, Insurance, co-insurance, hospice and private payers.
- Assisting our residents to apply for benefits available to them
- Ability to coordinate the various support services and personnel needed to ensure smooth office operations.
- Processing Ancillary Accounts payable
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

PAY AND BENEFITS: Starting at $30 / Hour
The rate would increase, and be negotiable, with experience in business office, or similar, in a SNF setting
