S. B. Ballard Construction Company is seeking an experienced Executive Projects Assistant to the Owner/CEO. Incumbent will play a pivotal role in providing high level support to extremely hands-on Owner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
Previous Executive Assistant or Project Manager Assistant experience
Previous experience working for a General Contractor
Execptional organization and time-management skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion and confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt and easily adjust to changing circumstances and keep up with moving priorities, projects, clients, etc.
Effective follow-up skills
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily with Executive Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to the CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence, particularly in regard to current construction projects.
Assist in project management tasks such as coordinating construction projects and overseeing timelines, communicating with team members and keeping CEO informed.
Utilize organizational skills to manage details on current construction projects, follow-up on phone calls, written correspondence, keeping CEO informed at all times on any problems or issues.
Utilize personal assistant experience to anticipate needs and provide proactive support to the CEO.
Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation preparation.
Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
The successful candidate will possess excellent follow-up skills and have the ability to pay attention to details. This position would be ideally suited to someone currently working as a Project Manager Assistant who would like to expand their knowledge and experience.
