We are seeking a dedicated Mailroom Clerk to join our team. As a Mailroom Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our mailroom by handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments or individuals
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment, including labeling and packaging
- Operate office equipment such as postage meters, letter openers, and mail sorting machines
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies and materials
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Experience:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 pounds)
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for tracking shipments

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
