Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care and support to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient information in electronic health records
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with geriatrics
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding HIPAA regulations
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide patient-centered care
- Knowledge of dementia care and behavioral health is advantageous
