Key Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established policies and protocols.

Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to interventions.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Advocate for patients' rights and ensure that ethical and legal standards of care are maintained.

Act as a liaison between patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing emotional support.

Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.

Registered Nurse Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current South Carolina RN license.
