Shift A - 8 am to 515 pm
Shift B - 4 pm to 1215 am (5% shift differential)
Shift C - 12 am to 815 am (10% shift differential)
Depending on experience, starting Pay is $24 per hour.
As a Manufacturing/Production Floor Maintenance Technician, you'll be a vital part of our rapidly growing operations. What You'll Do:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on state-of-the-art production equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Maintain and repair electronic components to keep our assembly lines running smoothly.

Implement Lean and 5S methodologies to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Follow GMPs, safety protocols, and LOTO procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

The Manufacturing/Production Floor Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting automation equipment and sophisticated machines on the production floor. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronics such as ESD, microinverters, and circuit boards. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience and demands a strong sense of urgency and presence on the production floor at all times.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assembly line equipment and sophisticated machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment issues promptly to maintain production flow.

Electronics Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot electronic components, including ESD protections, microinverters, and circuit boards.

Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean principles, 5S methodologies, and other best practices to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Safety Compliance: Follow GMPs, safety protocols, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance records, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts usage.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to support efficient manufacturing operations and continuous improvement projects.

Training: Assist in training production staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting techniques.

Emergency Response: Respond quickly to production floor emergencies and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with automation equipment, and knowledge of electronics (ESD, microinverters, circuit boards).

Certifications: Certifications in maintenance, electronics, or related fields are a plus.

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems and equipment.

Urgency & Presence: Ability to work efficiently under pressure with a strong sense of urgency, being 100% present on the production floor.

Lean & 5S: Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.

Safety & Compliance: Understanding and adherence to GMPs, safety protocols, and LOTO procedures.

Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve maintenance issues quickly.

Environment: Works primarily on the production floor in a manufacturing setting.

Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

PPE: Use of personal protective equipment as required. ESD PPE.

Shift Work: May require working shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
