Medical Assistant with front office experience.
The Medical Assistant performs a wide variety of medical and clinical support in the outpatient office setting, such as; welcomes patients and obtains medical histories from patients; verifies patient information; assists Provider during exams and treatment (adhering to strict infection control practices), obtains patients vital signs, and verifies medications.
Other Responsibilities:
Ensures all related reports, labs and information is in patients’ medical records for upcoming appointments.
Takes telephone calls and provides feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy, as necessary.
Keeps exam rooms stocked and inventoried.
Confirms appointments and places orders and referrals for Providers.

Requirements:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
Certified Medical Assistant
CPR Certification
Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in physician’s office.
Bilingual is a plus
Nephrology experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
