Commercial/residential project manager for the Appleton area to oversee several projects. Minimum of 8 years experience running projects as an owner or PM. This position is for a strong, motivated person that is a self starter. You need experience in estimating, dealing with clients on change orders and oversee a project from the start to completion. In addition, you will be required to build a project schedule and have your subs and suppliers follow it. This is a very fast paced construction company. We're a design/build general contractor based in Appleton. You will be based in Appleton. Clean record with a good driving background required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from receiving plans from the design team to completion
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Previous field construction experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
