Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our high tech Silicon Valley company. As a Project Manager at a medical device manufacturing organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of various programs within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired objectives.
Responsibilities:
- As a program manager, you'll be responsible to deliver successful projects with exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain overall control of the schedule, budget, and scope, and ensure project plans and work products are based on approved, agreed-upon requirements.
- Ensure resources and funding are available for executing all project activities.
- Manage project plans, project change requests, and project lists, and use these deliverables to conduct the project.
- Monitors and appropriately communicates risk on projects. Work with internal and external teams to develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain a project plan and represent the company as needed for customer communications and meetings.
- Maintain regular contact with our clients' project managers as well, providing updates on project progress and answering any related questions.
- Must be comfortable engaging in collaborative (and sometimes difficult) discussions. Notifying the client program manager of non-resolvable issues and submitting recommendations to resolve them.
- Applying project methodologies, standards management skills across multiple projects.
- Track all milestones, including: order entry; engineer approval drawings; customer approval; order entry; bill of materials and drawings creation; buy-out or material availability; schedule; pre-erect or site-erect schedule; acceptance tests; shipping;
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications based on demonstrated experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience directly dealing with a customer from a program/project, liaison, engineering, and/or sales perspective.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with the Bill of Material (BOM) understanding principles and practices.
- Project management background, including knowledge of manufacturing industries.
- Responds promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service, and maintains confidentiality.
- Demonstrated the ability to analyze and resolve problems with a calm sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated excellent judgment, the ability to make decisions, and follow up on tasks effectively.
- Analytical skills and the ability to skillfully plan, and organize multiple dimensions of projects.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to document, plan and lead programs and projects.
- Strong background in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Customer service orientation with strong customer-facing communication, and negotiating skills.
- Experience in requirements management and vendor management
- Excellent reputation with customers with strong ethics and integrity.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
