Duties/Responsibilities:
· Have a safety mindset for you and the team
· Complete all safety training and comply with client safety requirements
· Travel to job sites and perform environmental remediation activities
· Maintain an acceptable driving record
· We pay for training, including but not limited to 40 Hour HAZWOPER, Confined Space training, and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) training
· Respond to emergency spill calls based on response schedule
· Travel for scheduled and unscheduled jobs as required
Minimum Required Qualifications:
· GED or high school diploma
· Willingness and ability to work safely and efficiently
· Ability to travel as needed
· Proven experience working in a team atmosphere
· Willingness to be part of a Hazmat Spill Team and respond to emergency calls
· Ability to be medically cleared for hazardous materials site work, including the ability to wear respiratory protection and chemical protective clothing
· Ability to work outdoors in hot or cold conditions
· Ability to perform in high-stress situations
· Ability to learn, understand and retain company provided training for handling hazardous materials
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs on occasion
Preferred Qualifications:
· Proven experience working as a HAZMAT cleanup technician
· Previous experience working in confined spaces
· Experience working with hydro-blasters, pressure washers, vac trucks, and guzzlers
· HAZWOPER certification
· MSHA certification
· Customer service experience
· Excellent communication skills
· Leadership experience
Enviro Care will provide training, including, but not limited to, 40 Hour HAZWOPER and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) training. Wages are dependent upon experience.
