Principal Accountabilities & Overall Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and/or replacement of site equipment and components, including pumps, valves, scrubbers, agitators, fans, heat exchangers, centrifuges, relief devices, and vessels, using available technical manuals, configuration documents, and drawings.

Conduct work activities in a manner that protects the safety and health of employees, visitors and the environment as established by company policies and procedures.

Coordinate area activities with other departments to maintain equipment availability, meet goals, and ensure high quality standards.
-
Ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
-
Obtain training necessary for job progression, complete all training requirements for assigned area(s), and train on new processes or tasks as required.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work area.
-
Ability to follow written / verbal instructions with minimal direct supervision to meet daily goals.
-
Ambition to learn other skills while maintaining obligations of current position.

Demonstrates the basic understanding of how equipment works and the fundamentals of preventative and predictive maintenance.
-
Meets the physical requirements for the position, including but not limited to bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs, working at elevated heights and in confined spaces, use of respiratory protection equipment, and lifting up to 50lbs.

Must be wiling to work after-hours (nights and weekends) on a rotating call-in basis

Wear chemical protective suits when required to conduct work activities

Must complete Hazwoper training and serve on site Emergency Response Team (ERT).
