Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3PL and NVOCC, with a focus on materials management, inventory management, and process improvement. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders, and implementing best practices to optimize warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire warehouse operation, including receiving, stocking, and shipping products.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and control of stock levels.
- Manage the warehouse team, providing training and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize inventory and reduce costs.
- Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring that expenses are kept within budget and that the warehouse is operating efficiently.
- Implement and maintain a warehouse management system to track inventory, monitor warehouse activities, and optimize warehouse operations.
- Implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to ensure that the warehouse has the necessary stock levels to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a related field.
- Experience with warehouse management systems.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize inventory and reduce costs.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Experience with process improvement and lean principles.
- Knowledge of materials management and inventory management best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
