Job Description:
Complete Care Community Health Center (CCCHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center, is hiring a Clinic Manager for its multi-specialty CCCHC-Cesar Chavez Clinic in East Los Angeles. Clinic Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating medical clinic service operations to ensure that clinic operations are safe, effective, productive, and providing quality patient care. Clinic manager provides effective leadership and support to all medical clinic providers, staff and ancillary staff in collaboration with CCCHC Leadership in accordance with CCCHC policies and organizational mission. Clinic Manager oversees patient access, scheduling, staffing, documentation, and non-licensed staff education, training, competency. Clinic Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless patient throughput between front and back-office teams; distributing work in areas of responsibility to achieve department/clinic goals; emphasizes accuracy, productivity, and completion of work within established time frames. Patient engagement and patient satisfaction are critical to the role, requiring strong customer service and cultural competencies coupled with excellent communication skills, to serve an ethnically diverse community. Clinic Manager should have the ability to develop engaging work and patient care environments that are sensitive to customers and caregivers alike. Responsible for clinic’s compliance with CCCHC policies and procedures, health plan contracts, and state/federal/local regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
· Day-to-day onsite management of clinic operations.
· Directly manages and supervises all medical care support staff of the clinic; sets and manages schedules, timecard/attendance matters; supervises staff in meeting federal, state, and local regulatory and training requirements; conducts annual performance appraisals, competencies; facilitates the orientation and training of new staff; works with HR department in employee-related matters, maintenance of personnel files.
· Coordinates daily patient schedules and activities of physicians, medical assistants, and any other staff with focus on quality, patient satisfaction, and meeting productivity goals; collaborates with the Call Center the scheduling of patient appointments
· Identifies and implements opportunities to maximize productivity through appropriate provider scheduling and other methods.
· Promotes company’s philosophy and mission and role models excellence in customer service and professional relationships at all levels
· Schedules and facilitates regular and effective meetings for medical clinic staff
· Proficient in using electronic health record software to register patients, manage appointments, manage provider schedules, and provide necessary reports.
· Ensures that the clinic and all equipment in the clinic meet licensing standards and maintains appropriate licensure and accreditation requirements with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
· Monitors and orders medical supplies and equipment to ensure the appropriate utilization and availability for patient care services.
· Responsible for administering, compliance, and managing of public health programs in which clinic participates (e.g., CHDP, etc.)
· Leads clinic preparations for various audits, inspections, certifications such as HRSA Operational Site Visit, Facility Site Reviews by third party payors, and certifications by various public health programs such as CHDP, VFC, and others
· Provides reports as requested by the CCCHC Leadership.
· Perform other duties and tasks as requested by CCCHC Leadership.
Required Skills:
· Excellent Computer and Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
· NextGen PM/EHR knowledge preferred
· Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent management, organization skills and ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
· Bilingual in English and Spanish
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to collect and analyze operational data
Required Experience:
· Must have three years of experience as a clinic manager or administrator in outpatient care, community health clinic or FQHC (preferred)
· Must have experience and knowledge of the processes of third-party payors’ inspections and audits
· Must have experience and knowledge of federal, state and healthplan compliance audits; certification and recertification processes with public health programs (CHDP, VFC, CPSP, etc);

· Bachelor Degree in related field, or equivalent education and experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
