We are a fast paced manufacturing company seeking to add an inside sales support / logistics administrator. This position is a Full Time (IN PERSON) position, 9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday.
This position requires communication with company sales reps inside and out, and will report directly to the sales manager. They will need to cover all basic office sales functions including but not limited to answering phone calls, responding to email, entering sales orders, scheduling shipments to customers etc.
Primary responsibilities and duties will include:
· Interact with customers on a daily basis, typically on the phone or via email.
· Accept orders, provide product recommendations as necessary
· Provide status of open orders
· Provide POD and information support for shipped orders
· Invoice customers & process credit cards, ship orders, maintain records and filing along with various other basic admin duties
· Interact with freight companies for shipping product
Data entry and lookup:
· Enter customer orders, and acknowledge customer orders, shipping, etc.
· Occasionally physically receive items at shipping dock and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
· Interact with customers/other employees who come to office
Qualifications and skills:
The right candidate for this position will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be organized and detail oriented. Comfortable with a computer and data entry, with a strong attention to detail a must. Basic knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Outlook and Word) is preferred.
· Must be able to use all office equipment, computers, phones, copiers, etc.
· Working in a manufacturing environment a plus but not necessary
· Knowledge of ERP systems a plus, experience in Global Shop a plus
· Must be 18 and over. Have a minimum of a GED or HS Diploma (Proof of education required) must be able to pass a drug test
