We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill an openings for our Assistant Manager position at Papa Doc's located in Lake Wylie, SC. Individuals should be willing to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial!
This is an entry level management position that assists in the daily operations.
Bottle Cap is looking for an Assistant Manager that can direct a team and provide a great customer experience. Our locations are open 7 days a week with a variety of operating hours. We are looking for someone dedicated and serious with a great attitude and willingness to provide a great customer experience and direct the FOH and BOH team.
Summary of Position:
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. In addition to providing a great atmosphere this position works with all employees in the FOH & BOH on a daily basis and keeping the GM informed of all operations and happenings within the restaurant.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Handles employee questions and concerns.
- Monitors employees to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.
- Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the GM.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel our guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages, scheduled entertainment and other restaurant functions and services.
- Ensures all employees have proper supplies and equipment.
- Communicates to GM any issues regarding food quality and service levels.
- Monitor’s alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
- Assists in achieving or exceeding budgeted goals.
- Performs all duties of restaurant employees and related departments as necessary.
- Assist in the delivery of food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests during peak times.
- Help maintain clean service areas.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Manage and Direct both FOH & BOH employees with daily tasks and checklists
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly about your schedule and shift and show up on time as scheduled.
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
