Growing real estate business in the area is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Property Manager.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager include, but are not limited to:
1. Billing and rent collection;
2. Issuing resident notices;
3. Supervising contractors to perform maintenance, as well as repairs to community common areas;
4. Computer skills that include knowledge and experience in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word, Adobe (primarily for scanning), and internet savvy;
5. Marketing homes for lease;
6. Completion of proper documentation for new residents, including screening, completion of leases, disclosures, etc.;
7. Daily community tours to ensure security and maintenance of all common areas, as well as interaction with residents to promote a feeling of "belonging" within the communities; and
Applicants should possess the following personal characteristics:
1. A very positive, "can do" attitude;
2. Enjoy working with people;
3. Excellent organizational skills;
4. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing environment;
5. Must be willing to be accountable and take ownership of responsibilities (as if you were the owner of the communities);
6. Excellent communication skills, particularly with off-site management (i.e., keep administrative office updated and totally informed, while seeking direction as needed).
7. Must be a good salesperson (i.e., always promoting the community to potential renters, home buyers, and existing residents);
