Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to join our management team as our Food and Beverage Director. As the Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, including managing staff, ensuring quality control, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and serving
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Train and develop staff members to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Coordinate catering services for special events or functions
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and implementing strategies to increase profitability
Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is required
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively and provide leadership in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in menu planning and creating innovative dishes that meet dietary restrictions or preferences
