Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Educator for our Infant Classroom to join our team and provide a nurturing educational environment for young children and a for those learning about them. If you have a passion for collaborating with parents, fostering the growth and development of infants and young toddlers, and guiding best and effective practice, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each infant's daily routine is planned with the child's parent(s) and in accordance with MA Standards for Infants and Toddlers.
- Encourage relational learning and ensure children have and make choices
- Create engaging activities that promote learning through play
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child
- Monitor and assess student progress to provide feedback to parents and caregivers
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field essential (MS/MA desireable).
- Previous experience working with infants and/or toddlers
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and special education practices
- Proficiency in math concepts relevant to early childhood education
- Experience in administering standardized testing is a plus
- Passion for child welfare and promoting physical education among young learners

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
