Essential Functions
Conduct scheduled and impromptu tours in the Health Center.
Assist in planning and implementing open houses, luncheons, community events, and other sales and special events.
Oversee the admission process, including the scheduling of interviews and assessments, completion of all paperwork and forms, computer data input, and follow-up; advise appropriate staff of potential admissions.
Coordinate with Campus Environment Department to ensure cottage/apartment/room is ready for admission on move-in date.
Assist with the preparation of marketing materials; maintain proper inventory of marketing materials.
Respond to marketing prospect requests by sending marketing materials.
Establish and maintain cordial, respectful, and professional relationships with residents and prospective residents of Westminster Village North.
Maintain an accurate and comprehensive record of prospect visits, resident admissions and marketing efforts and events; make strategic recommendations for continued improvement.
Assist in and recommend the development, administration and coordination of department policies and procedures; assist in the development of the department budget and monitor expenditures for compliance with the budget.
Complete necessary forms and reports as required.
Actively participate as a member of the Resident and Community relations team; attend meetings and participate in committees as requested.
Attend and participate in workshops and seminars to enhance skills as well as to maintain a professional status.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as directed.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree is preferred with minimum two (2) years’ experience in marketing or sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in long-term care is preferred.
