The Coordinator will help bridge the gap from design to build. This job requires multiple interfaces with multiple platforms. Ideally, this person will assist both the design and build departments with logistics and administration support. This role is primarily administrative, providing insight into design, estimating, and building. For the right candidate, this role could grow into full-time work and incorporate further work into one of the departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisted the design department in categorizing selections into software platforms
- Verify selection specifications and requirements
- Manage the permit application process over multiple municipalities
- Request and review trade partner bids
- Coordinate orders and delivery with the build team on finish material and selections in accordance with the build schedule
- Work with the accounting team to code and reconcile purchases
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A combination of 2 years total school and/or experience in the construction industry in logistics, ordering, or equivalent
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to learn new software quickly is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft, and Google suites
- High school diploma or equivalent, post high school education a plus
- Understanding of Gantt charts a plus
- Experience with construction software such as CoConstruct or Buildertrend a plus
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Passion for design and/or construction a plus
- Basic building practices a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
