Position:
Reporting directly to the President, we are looking for an individual to provide comprehensive support to a busy executive. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with excellent written and verbal communication, a strategic thought process, and the ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities. The Junior Administrative Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. We are looking for a pro-active self-starter who has a high degree of personal integrity and strong interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will have passion, an independent-but-also-collaborative work ethic, a hardworking attitude, and lots of enthusiasm. *This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote.
The Work:
- Intense email management
- Advanced, proactive calendar management, facilitating swift set-up of meetings and timely production/printing of hand-outs; can drive president’s schedule and help them manage their time effectively.
- Provide phone coverage, professionally fielding phone calls and redirecting as appropriate; distribute messages in a timely and appropriate manner
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls
- Partner and assist with overflow and assistant back-up coverage.
- Plans, coordinates, and ensures the President’s schedule is followed and respected. Provides a bridge for smooth communication between President’s office and internal departments
The Fine Print:
- 2+ years of administrative experience supporting a senior level executive in a corporate office environment
- Experience working in a public relations, marketing and/or advertising firm a plus
- Bachelor's degree
- High level of attention to detail, with strong commitment to accuracy.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in calendar management; can apply good judgment and has an understanding of competing priorities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
