General Purpose:
The IT Business Partner (ITBP) Administration serves as the tactical and strategic IT interface with Finance, Human Resources, Risk/Compliance, Development, Facilities, Data Analysis, and IT departments for the purpose of using information technology to support and drive operational and process efficiencies, and strategy development.
The ITBP serves in the lead role in enabling these departments to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology. The ITBP provides operational support and strategic consulting and guidance. They proactively share knowledge of technology-related opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of these administrative units. They partner with leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify, lead and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. return on investment, productivity, compliance). The
ITBP will also work closely with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other vendors to ensure infrastructure and technology is supporting the departments for delivery of services, and that different technologies within the total technological ecosystem can effectively “talk” to each other to efficiently deliver data and insights for departmental decision making.
Essential Functions:

Work with the CIO to prepare a long-term plan for capital projects based on business goals and IT roadmap.

Ability to oversee and manage vendors and assist with contract management including the selection and support of a contract management tool

Ability to coordinate efforts with Human Resources, Risk Management/Compliance and Development to understand systems and to plan, implement and support future system –and enable units to think past immediate requirements to future capability and capacity building.

Acquire and develop knowledge of industry practices, technology, trends, and benchmarking data. This is a must for advisement as well as to keep abreast of resources for various technical projects

Keep fully apprised of ongoing enhancements and technology initiatives in the various business units and departments, ensuring consistency in delivery of services and support
Activities are subject to change/added to meet business needs with management approval.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are required:

Knowledge of one or more HRIS systems a plus, ADP Workforce NOW is current system

Knowledge of how to build integrations across systems and platforms
-
Strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Office suite a must.

Bachelor’s degree in Business IT, Mathematics, Finance or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels on business projects including subject matter experts and vendors.

Ability to frame strategy and convert to IT execution plans

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including creation and delivery of Power Point presentations
Special Working Conditions:

Occasional inspection of equipment.
