Summary:
A Fiberglass Maintenance individual cleans, keeps and maintains the fiberglass facility in a clean, safe working environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Clean all areas in fiberglass.
- Vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors areas in fiberglass.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
- Maintain parking lot clean of leaves and debris using a leaf blower.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Maintains maintenance equipment in working order.
- Provides basic cleaning and greasing maintenance of certain equipment.
- Performs repairs or general maintenance work of Fiberglass building, grounds, and equipment including carpentry, minor plumbing, painting.
- Repairs and treats structures such as shutters, floors, sinks, walls, and carpets.
- Performs minor repairs, troubleshooting, and adjustment of locks on cabinets, locks, closets, desk.
- Following established preventative maintenance and inspection program for all manufacturing equipment. To include the physical maintenance: cleaning, blowing out dust, wiping down, de-greasing, and/or touch up painting.
- Cleans and provides basic maintenance to forklifts as needed.
- Serves as a backup company driver/courier as needed.
- Maintains safety, product quality, and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and resolution of process difficulties.
- Fiberglass employees are required to use half-face respirator and Tyvek suit at all times while in certain areas,
- Daily clean and emptying of trash containers of restrooms and lunch room
Skills and Knowledge requirement:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred but not required)
- Prior knowledge or experience is not needed but is an added bonus. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Good communication skills
- Spanish speaker is not mandatory, but it is a plus.
- Punctual, reliable and conscientious with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize and drive projects is a must.
Additional Functions:
- Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.
- Occasionally overtime might be required.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License- Mandatory

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
