Our Veterinary Assistants are very important. A full detailed 90 day training protocol is in place. Our assistants work closely with all types and personalities cats and dogs as they are very hands on with the patients. Our team is very friendly and very supportive of each other, so our assistants. must be able to work with other people. We are completely gossip free. In this field, it is essential to work fast, think fast, and lift dogs. Our assistants must also have weekend boarding shifts which usually only last about 1-2 hours per shift.
Do you have experience with blood draws, catheters, X-rays, dentals and a little more than what an assistant is usually hired for? Then you may be considered for a Veterinary nurse position. The more experience you have in the tech assistant role and working in clinics the higher your chances are.
