Wildlife Technician position requiring skills and experience in handling nuisance wildlife issues including rodents, birds and bats. Skills require abilities with hand tools and power tools, power equipment, working on roofs using ladders, scaffolding and personnel lifts. Must have skills in inter-personal relationships in order to clearly communicate with clients, management and co-workers.
Qualifications:
A well-qualified candidate will have the following expertise:
- Experience in service company technical work and especially in pest management.
- Experience in software technology such as Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel, work order software, smart phones and smart phone applications.
- Experience with technical work such as use of hand tools, carpentry, power-tool and power-equipment operation.
- Knowledge of building construction and building systems.
- Ability and experience to manage client relations via phone, email and text.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form.
- Experience in servicing a route or series of customers on a recurring basis.
- Organizational skills that ensure prompt and quality execution of tasks including follow-up to ensure ongoing success.
- Experience with various types of wildlife traps and wildlife removal techniques.
- Management of numerous job sites and crews.
- Ability to assess potential jobs and provide comprehensive bids.
- This is a ground floor opportunity to serve a large demand for wildlife management services. Our company operates primarily in Western Montana but also throughout the state and northern Idaho. This position offers the opportunity to expand with the support of advertising and networking on a local and national basis to secure contracts.
