OASIS Reviewer/Coder
We are seeking an experienced OASIS Coder/Reviewer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OASIS guidelines and regulations, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. As an OASIS Coder/Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant documentation, ultimately contributing to high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Review patient medical records to accurately assign OASIS codes based on clinical assessments and documentation.
- Conduct thorough reviews of OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in OASIS guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide education and training to healthcare staff on OASIS coding and documentation requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting in the development of new processes in collaboration with the clinical and operations teams
Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of OASIS guidelines, CMS regulations, and ICD-10 coding.
- Experience in home health or healthcare coding and documentation review.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review and interpret clinical data
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare coding and review.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified OASIS Specialist (COS) certification preferred.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook)
- Proficiency in using Kantime (EHR).

The Quality Assurance Specialist position requires working within our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. However, this position will require after-hours and weekend availability as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
