```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary goal will be to ensure the oral health and well-being of our patients.
```Duties```
- Perform routine dental exams, including oral cancer screenings and dental cleanings
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients when necessary
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems (such as Epic)
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
```Requirements```
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Dentist (new graduates are welcome to apply)
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding related to dentistry
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures in a clear and understandable manner
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with other dental professionals
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
