SCHEDULE: 4/10 SHIFTS, MON - THUR 6am - 4pm
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for the safety and security of the facility and its employees. Will develop, coordinate, and administer Environmental, Health and Safety programs, as well as oversee the site security. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Development and implementation of facility safety programs such as mobile equipment safety, lockout/tagout, heat stress, hearing conservation, fall protection, personal protective equipment, observation process, grinding safety, respiratory protection, pedestrian safety, cranes and hoists, and other OSHA safety compliance programs.
- Conducts routine and follow-up safety and hazard inspections of facility.
- Responds to emergency situations involving safety, prepares reports of findings.
- Responsible for working with HR to ensure corrective action is covered for reporting on incidents.
- Conducts new hire orientation on safety policies and procedures.
- Continuous training with employees on safety topics and hazard conditions.
- Responsible for the inventory in the first aid room with supplies
- Renders aid when needed.
- Determines security staffing levels and plant specific training required.
- Develops emergency shelter plans and evacuation situations and training.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Related Bachelor's Degree preferred, (4) years in related EHS role required. Knowledge of applicable safety laws/standards (i.e. OSHA, ISO, EPA) required.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
