Onsite Care Coordinator (OCC) Job Description

We are looking for an Onsite Care Coordinator with the following criteria:
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Phlebotomy Certification
- EKG certification
- Strong Communication and bed side manner skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good with technology
- Bilingual English/ Spanish/Mandarin a plus!
- Familiar with CDC guidelines
- Minimum one year job experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic medical attention to patients
- Confirm appointment via phone
- Check and record vitals signs utilizing our ZiphyCare technology (adequate training provided as part of onboarding)
- Record patient’s medical history and help patients fill out intake forms and any other forms.
- Capture ID and insurance card and add to patient’s charts
- Explain procedures to patients
- Collect specimens such as blood and nasal swabs
- Drop off specimen collections to Labs
- Fill out after visit summary
- Sanitize ZiphyKit (all equipment) and Phones before and after each appointment following CDC guidelines
- Ensure that all equipment is charged and in working condition every morning before going to appointments
- Put in maintenance tickets for anything broken on equipment
- Carry heavy equipment from and to appointments (must be able to carry 25 Lbs.)
- Follow practice’s protocols, including following scripts when communicating with patients.
- Prepared to conduct house calls and help facilitate remote exam using proprietary technology (adequate training provided as part of onboarding)
This position requires traveling to patient's homes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
