Duties:
- Perform fluoroscopic imaging for pain management procedures and surgeries on patients in the ambulatory surgery center.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for image quality and patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care and accurate interpretation of images.
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols.
-Radiation Safety Officer. Maintain lead aprons and radiation badges for all staff at both locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid license as an X-ray Technologist from ARRT.
-Current BLS cert
- Previous experience working in an ER, pain management, or similar fast-paced healthcare environment is preferred.
- Proficient in operating a C-Arm and related software.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
