Job Summary:
Your Story Counseling, a multi-specialty mental health practice, with locations in Lisle and Oswego, seeks qualified candidates to join our established group practice.
Candidates must have a master's degree counseling or related discipline. This position is designed to provide the ideal candidate opportunities to be a part of Client Services team ensuring a high quality client experience related to new client referrals, intake, and client assignments to therapists. Additionally, the candidate with have a small caseload of therapy clients (15 to 18) to provide opportunities for currency with clinical practice and professional development.
Workdays are Monday through Friday, with Friday evolving to a work from home day after a 60-day training and probationary period.
This is a salaried position with stable income and work hours.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in counseling or similar field of study.
- Eligibility to become licensed or an active and unrestricted license or clinical license (LSW, LCSW, ALMFT, LMFT or LPC, LCPC) in the State of Illinois. A valid copy must be provided to Your Story Counseling upon hiring.
- Available to attend at least 15 patient sessions per week with availability for to schedule 18 sessions, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Your Story Counseling.
- Availability to be approved as an in-network provider on all current insurance panels, if applicable.
- Available to attend professional and community events and meetings pertinent to the mission and goals of the position and strategic initiatives of the practice which will involve some intermittent weekend and evening availability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and the practice’s electronic health records software.
- General working familiarity with electronic medical records management, HIPAA, healthcare benefits procedures and methods, insurance credentialing and quality assurance and control standards relevant to clinical practice and business operations.
- Experience interacting with customers in satisfaction situations and/or patients in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong aptitude to remain calm and compassionate during emotionally significant conversations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to new client referrals and client-related inquiries from staff and clients in a timely manner consistent with required specifications set by the Client Services Manager.
- Using clinical discretion and assessment skills, assign new clients to appropriately trained therapists.
- Complete routine quality assurance and control reporting to support and enhance the client experience and business operations (e.g. intake rosters, intake duration, volume, etc.).
- Maintain availability to be responsive to client intake calls adhering to professional standards of care, best practices, and considering all applicable compliance guidelines for practice (e.g. HIPAA, etc.).
- Develop client resource information and other support options in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Attend therapy sessions and maintain clinical caseload of therapy clients.
- Complete timely clinical documentation for therapy sessions.
- Develop and complete methods for ensuring intake, client assignment, troubleshooting, team efficiency and performance in a timely manner.
- As assigned and needed, attend community and professional events representing the practice which could require infrequent weekend or additional evening availability.
- Assist the leadership team in reviewing and developing internal processes related to intake, benefits, and the overall client experience.
- Assist supervisor in the maintenance of the client experience including, but not limited to supply ordering, cleanliness, orderliness, and replenishment of supplies and other items.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival at work is required.
- Abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed as specified in the Employee Handbook.
- Attend team meetings as scheduled by supervior and other required meetings.
- Other responsibilities and projects, as assigned or identified.

Pay: $54,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
