MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR EACH LEVEL:
Journeymen Level I (WG-08):
- Basic knowledge in at least 2 of the following facility maintenance trades to complete work orders: electrical, HVAC mechanic, heating & boiler equipment mechanic, industrial equipment mechanic, sheet metal mechanic, welder, or electronics mechanic;
- Basic knowledge or experience with the installation, modification and repair of facility systems;
- Working knowledge of building plans, blueprints, diagrarams/drawings, and maintenance/repair manuals;
- Ability to follow established safety rules, procedures and regulations to maintains a safe and clean work environmentBasic knowledge/experience with trade-specific tools

Journeymen Level II (WG-10):
- Proficient knowledge in at least 2 of the following facility maintenance trades to complete work orders: electrical, HVAC mechanic, heating & boiler equipment mechanic, industrial equipment mechanic, sheet metal mechanic, welder, or electronics mechanic;
- Proficient knowledge/experience to plan, layout and complete the installation, modification and repair of facility systems with the ability to use appropriate trade-specific tools;
- Ability to interpret building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and maintenance and repair manuals in order to plan and layout work;
- Proficient knowledge of trade formulas required to calculate common properties;
- Ability to inspect overall work to assure trade standards, quality, and scope; requirements are met and work is completed in a timely manner;
- Ability to follow established safety rules, procedures and regulations to maintains a safe and clean work environment;
